Cuts and forms doughs.
Bakes breads, rolls, muffins, pies, pastries, cakes and cookies for each meal daily.
Prepares batters from scratch.
Frosts and decorates cakes and other baked goods.
Portions baked goods.
Pre-breakfast preparations and breakfast short-order services.
Cooks and serves breakfast, night meals and rig boxes.
Supervises night shift staff.
Responds to client and staff inquiries or complaints and resolves problems.
Estimates baking and food requirements.
Unpacks and stores baking supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas.
Ensures cleanliness of kitchen and dining area.
Maintains baking inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Enforces PTI policies and procedures Safety.
Participates, accepts and adopts the safety principles described in the PTI Group Inc. safety program.
Has a complete understanding of WHMIS applies this knowledge in day to day work.
Works in a safe and responsible manner.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least minimum 1 year experience to the position.
Able to work in a fast pace environment.
Good time management skills.
Demonstrate commitment to Company safety policies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for environmental protection.
Ensure a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping is maintained onboard the rig.
