MODEC Guyana Inc. (MOG) requires qualified and accredited Training Providers
(“SUBCONTRACTORS”) to deliver Corporate Onshore Training Services that support leadership
development, soft skills, technical compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
Services shall include:
• Curriculum design and delivery of training programs.
• Certification issuance and validity management.
• Learning Management System (LMS) updates.
• Training scheduling, logistics, and reporting.
• Compliance with Guyana laws, industry standards, and corporate governance.
Training categories include (but are not limited to):
1. Leadership – Senior & Junior Leadership Development, Stakeholder Management, Coaching.
2. Soft Skills – Communication, Public Speaking, Conflict Resolution, Interpersonal Skills, Time
Management, Teamwork, Problem-Solving, Adaptability.
3. Technical – Customs & Warehousing Compliance, Subcontractor Negotiations & TCO, Project
Management, Compensation & Benefits, OPITO Petroleum Processing Technology, Process Mapping.
Requirements
Training Provider Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of proven corporate training experience.
• Demonstrated delivery in energy, industrial, or related sectors.
• Valid business licenses, training permits, and regulatory compliance in Guyana.
• Trainers must hold relevant professional credentials (e.g., OPITO, PMI, SHRM).
• Ability to deliver in-person, virtual, or hybrid training formats.
Training Services & Responsibilities
• Training delivery aligned to MOG’s Training Matrix and operational priorities.
• Certification issuance and tracking (with records archived and reported).
• LMS updates after each training.
• Weekly, monthly, and annual reporting on training status, compliance, and expirations.
• Continuous improvement based on participant feedback and MOG evaluation.
Data Privacy & Compliance
SUBCONTRACTOR must comply with the Guyana Data Protection Act 2023, GDPR, and MODEC
standards for personal data protection, including encryption, secure storage, and breach notification
protocols.
Service Hours
• Training delivery must be aligned with MODEC’s operational schedules.
• Some sessions will require flexibility (evenings/weekends) to minimize disruption to operations.
