MODEC is looking for an experienced and committed Material QA/QC Inspector who will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

•Perform inspections from the receipt and verification of the application of the materials to the piping systems in the spools pre-fabrication, according to the drawings, Inspection Plan and Tests and applicable specifications.

•Liaise with Certification Authority for acceptance of work during the complete fabrication steps.

•Witness and approve the tests performed by the contractor or supplier and ensure that the execution of the preservation of pipe discipline items (pipes, fittings, filters, valves, etc.) is being correctly performed by the contractor or supplier.

•Reviews, verifies and approves the Test Packs and QA/QC inspection and testing reports issues and submitted by Contractor or Vendor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree expected.

•Technician certificate with experience in quality positions (mandatory)-Welding Inspector Level 1, Coating Inspector Level 2, or NDT Level 3 certification; recommended training in quality control (e.g. Quality Assurance, ISO 9000, 5S).

•Advanced Microsoft Office Package knowledge is required.
