MOG Telecommunication Plan – Links (MPLS, P2P Link, link internet 500 mbps)

MODEC Guyana needs establish telecommunication services to ensure an efficient and reliable communication infrustucture for new offices. The scope includes the implementation of hight-speed internet links, P2P link, and the voice / SIP trunk link.

• Internet links with a minimum recommended bandwidth of 500 Mbps;

• P2P link a minimum recommended bandwidth of 200 Mbps (Georgetown);

• Network equipment compatible with IPv6;

• Compatibility with major VoIP protocols (SIP);

• Clear options for bandwidth upgrades as future demand requires.

The Local Content Secretariat aims to ensure the prioritisation of Guyanese nationals and Guyanese companies in the procurement of goods and Services for the enhancement of the value chain of the petroleum sector and to enable local capacity development.
