Offshore Medical Services

MODEC Guyana Inc. (“MOG”) is seeking a potential vendor to develop, implement, and manage a Medical Evacuation Response Plan (MERP), Offshore Clinic Manning and Management, Offshore Medical Services, Alcohol and Drugs Program, and other related Offshore Medical Services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Providing ambulance services for immediate medical evacuation.
• Planning for pandemics and managing infectious diseases.
• Ensuring 24-hour access to certified emergency physicians.
• Managing the offshore medical clinic, including medical supplies and equipment.
• Conducting annual inspections and certifications of medical equipment.
• Overseeing clinical operations and qualified medical personnel.
• Handling medical waste management.
• Maintaining electronic medical records.
• Promoting health and hygiene practices onboard.
• Conducting occupational health monitoring.
• Managing alcohol and drug testing programs.

All services must comply with internationally recognized protocols for remote offshore environments.

General Requirements:
• Medical professionals certified in emergency medicine, ACLS, ITLS or equivalent.
• Quick mobilization of equipment and teams for emergencies.
• Professionalism and Reliability.
• Adaptation and Flexibility.
• Continuous Improvement.
• Training and Capacity Building
