As a fan of marathon crime miniseries, I was hooked on the concept
The show had an interesting premise and a lot of early promise, but it got lost along the way.
However, it seemed like it was originally written to be a multi-season show, but was cut short to an eight-episode miniseries
The result was an overly dense story with multiple subplots and underdeveloped characters that only loosely connected to the main plot.
Each subplot had potential, but was cut short, leaving the story feeling empty and confusing
It felt like all the right ingredients were there for a 5-star meal, but the chef ran out of time and just threw it all together and served it.
The ending was particularly disappointing, not really bad, just disappointingly dull
It failed to evoke strong emotions, either positive or negative, because there wasn’t much to connect with.
